What an ignorant thing to say and disgusting to use that word.

Btw the measurment is called Fahrenheit.

Not expected someone to take it that serious. It's basically a joke as old as the internet...

Frantically looking for sympathy but just can't seem to find it.

They are criminals!  They failed to contribute to society and have probably caused grief in other people's lives.  Prison isn't luxury...although movies and tv shows portray it that way.

Partly true, but not everybody is a murder or rapist. And even then it doesn't mean they can be slowly killed by heat in the worst case or tortured. We're talking about the whole day in a small room. Doesn't have to be luxurious, but just don't torture them. A very long time in a small room is torture enough.

Well I use the "retard" units so I'm offended.

And I thought non-Americans were supposed to be more educated lol.

:toofunny: Oh my god, please. I don't wanna fight know... Has nothing to do with education tho. I acknowledged that you found that offensive, now let's get back to the topic. "lol"

At first I thought this was a Haroon post and I was so shocked at Haroon using "retard" + a non Gaga or 'default' emote :diane:

I had to go back and check, I thought it was Haroon :poot:

Ok. But if I has said the same thing about Celsius I'd be called a dumb American and an ignorant xenophobe.

And I'm frankly tired of people insulting stuff we do and use just cause it's different from yours. That's the definition of xenophobia so...

Prisoners deserve humane living conditions. The point of sending someone to prison is no to torture them, it's for them to serve time and rehabilitate. I believe this would be called 'cruel and unusual punishment' which we're all supposed to be protected from at the hands of our government....

I mean I could be biased but, everybody in Europe is used to 100+ degree summers without any sort of air conditioning. Sure it's uncomfortable and feel like f*cking sh*t, but we still live. :emma:

It depends on how the building was built and most of the time cells absorb sun rays and make it even hotter. You also have to consider humidity and how the wind blows.

It's probably way worse than when we have 40 degrees.

I mean technically everybody has air conditioning, it's on the market and for everyone to buy who has the money but it's absolutely not common in Europe whatsoever. Half of the supermarkets I shop in don't even have air conditioning, all school facilities I visited during my lifetime and university campus buildings (except the one that just very got recently built) have no air conditioning. Even retirement homes (where they would make the most sense) don't have them 95% of the time. Air conditioning is definitely seen as something extremely prestigous/luxurious/unneccesary here.

Oh wow, I didn't know that. We're super privileged here in the States

Y'all don't have air conditioning, or do you just choose not to use it?

I guess the difference is is that these guys don't have the luxury of just cooling themselves off when they can.

I live in Texas, so the heat can be absolutely unbearable, but I always keep my house cool

Wyd the heat is great here :tony:

I'm just happy it's rarely humid, that's when it starts getting shitty (I lived in Florida most of my life). :toofunny:

We gotta be the bigger people :emma:

Besides it's just a joke, no one on here legit thinks we're unintelligent simply because we use F instead of C

Yes, I live in the Dallas area. But seriously, when it's humid AF it feels super hot. Here in Texas weather is like:

100 , feels like 100

but in Florida it's like:

90, feels like 110 :nails:

The temperature plays us

If you think Texas is bad go to Florida or some tropical island. You will have a blast :trollga:

I think it's time we go on a trip together. MMonstre4Miami2020 here we go! (Even though I've never been to Miami) :ladyhaha:
