Iv always had hope that Donatella would have been a single. I think it could have been a smash.
It's got a good beat and funny lyrics. Imagine a ridiculous video like John Wayne, kind of a parody style.... BOP
What do you guys think?

And this is how you became one of my faves already. Donatella slays just like Ms Versace. Let them haters seethe.:gaycat:

To the flaming haters in this thread:

"SCREAMS FROM THE HATERS, GOTTA NICE RING TO IT!"

The most underrated Gaga song ever.  Better than Joanne (song), MANiCURE, and Bad Kids.  It's such a fun song with a fun hook.  It kind of reminds me of one of the more overlooked songs from The Fame.  The last song where she just made up words.

The lyrics aren't cringy, they're satirical.

It's not about that, the lyrics are bad

Not as bad as "love it when you call me legs in the morning buy me eggs" tho, so Donatella has that going for ha :music:

Life has a hopeful undertone |-/

Donatella could be her worst song ever... It was funny on the first listen though..

I'm not a big fan of Donatella.  The lyrics are just ... No. It's basically a song that's a second-rate track from The Fame.  It's something you would expect from a popstar wannabe trying to emulate The Fame album back in 2008/2009.

That said ... I don't think it would have performed badly as a single.  The lyrics mocking skinny-ness/not eating, I think, would have gone over well with the general listeners.

Donatella live was literally one of the highlights of the artRAVE.

However, the non-arty general public take lyrics (and Gaga herself) way too literally to appreciate this song. It is very tongue-in-cheek.

Donatella is anything but art hun.

Art could mean anything.

Satire is actually a very clever, high form of art.
