BB Hot 100 calculations for NEXT week based on 3 days of itunes bars, current airplay and a streaming estimate

#position, sales (000's) + airplay (A.I. millions) + streaming (20Ks) = points*, artist, song, (change on Hot 100)

#1 244 + 177 + 55 = 348 Carly Rae Jepsen CMM (=)

#2 235 + 176 + 46 = 333 Maroon 5 Payphone ft. Khalifa (=)

#3 165 + 192 + 48 = 304 Gotye STIUTK ft Kimbra (=)

#4 224 + 88 + 27 = 237 Katy Perry WA (=)

#5 121 + 130 + 22 = 201 Rihanna WHYB (=)

#6 149 + 81 + 33 = 190 Ellie Goulding Lights (=)

#7 87 + 116 + 40 = 186 Fun. WAY ft. Monae (=)

#8 97 + 108 + 33 = 180 Nicki Minaj Starships (=)

#9 100 + 105 + 32 = 178 One Direction WMYB (=)

#10 110 + 90 + 20 = 160 Usher Scream (=)

#11 137 + 61 + 21 = 155 David Guetta + Sia Titanium (+1)

#12 98 + 68 + 37 = 152 Justin Bieber Boyfriend (+5)

#13 74 + 94 + 28 = 149 Flo Rida WO ft Sia (-2)

#14 52 + 101 + 26 = 139 The Wanted GYC (-1)

#15 91 + 55 + 31 = 131 Kanye West Mercy (=)

#16 106 + 60 + 13 = 127 Pitbull BIT (-2)

#17 81 + 64 + 16 = 117 Luke Bryan DOY (-1)

#18 67 + 59 + 19 = 108 Karmin Brokenhearted (-1)

#19 56 + 63 + 21 = 106 Train DB (=)

#20 65 + 57 + 12 = 98 Eric Church Springsteen (=)

*points = 62% x sales/K + 80% x airplay (A.I. millions) + 5% x on demand streaming/K

It mainly just reflects the existing Hot 100 at the moment.

Boyfriend's rise is just recovery from 'complete my album' effect.

Approx weekly sales for Gaga: PF 7.4K, TEOG 7.0K, BTW 6.5K, JD 6.1K, BR 5.9K Y+I 5.8K

Here's the Where Have You Been (Calvin Harris Extended Remix) that's causing the song to have a slight boost in sales at #307. I like this version better.

would you want a gaga-britney single? what if it was performed live?? not sure if excited about what it would look like

or scared of what it would turn out to be

Well, if you think about it, Gaga can perform Telephone without Beyonce and she can easily do the same thing with Britney. Anyways, if they were to perform together I would imagine it being something along the lines of Rihanna and Britney's performance of S&M at the BBMA's 2011. Which I don't consider a necessarily amazing performance but it was by no means a disaster. Gaga will most likely do extensive promo for the song and since Britney doesn't seem too fond of promotion, Gaga can just perform live the parts of the songs that she sings and cut out the parts of the song that Britney sings. Single sales lower overall compared to the first half of the year. Wish Gaga would debut a song right now because it would easily go #1 with no song completely dominating in sales.

Single releases are slowing down for the summer season, will pick up again soon as lead singles begin coming out from holiday-albums.

Just A Holy Fool

WHYB is top 5 now? Not bad.

It appears it will peak at #1 on Top 40 radio. Payphone got to #1 today, but it will be shortlived as their spins are decreasing rapidly.

WHYB got a +195 spin update today :legend:

Go out with a hit Rihanna, and then take a LONG break. :nails:

I seriously didn't know that Completing My Album didn't count as purchasing the full album. That is sooo dumb

Yeah, it will be a fight. If WHYB does get to #1, it will be for a week probably.

I really hope Wide Awake gets cockblocked by Lights :) I don't want to see her get another #1 for a while.

Who said it didn't?

The thing is they also count it as -1 for whatever singles were previously bought, so sales for a single like Boyfriend or Payphone come in lower than expected album release week.
