MarryTheKnight 2,181
The album initially had a decent response to the album (good hype and very good reviews), there was a slight bump with BTW/ Express Yourself controversy. It had amazing first week sales, then a MAJOR drop, and Judas killed the momentum further. TEOG had really good radio play. And You and I was a sizeable hit. However, with the ****ty music video for TEOG, it killed the songs chances from going #1 and truly making the BTW more successful. And the MESS of a video and song she calls Marry the Night, hammered the nails into her coffin. The public still likes Lady Gaga but she definitely isnt as popular as she was right before BTW. jhonyguy04 3
You take Youtube views seriously. Artists like Rihanna and Bieber have their labels pay for their views youtube, twitter and all that internet crap is dumb. JLo has many views for on the floor, and she is not that popular. and justin bieber baby?? please lol. what matters is itunes sales, album sales, and radio play. that is all i care for. Runway 27,876
You think the public was digesting the BTW album era well? Well, I suppose that's why a good portion of the videos could barely crack 50m views. We're going off topic however. she should've just sold out SillyGa

saltface 177
You take Youtube views seriously. Artists like Rihanna and Bieber have their labels pay for their views Compared to TF/M era the BTW videos underperformed on YT, indicating a decrease in popularity. Gaga's popularity has decreased, no doubt about it, and her first week sales will be no more than 600k, even with a smash lead single.
whiteboi1327 78
Her sales are going up in Australia. By the tour is over, she might sell another 250,000 WW.

It's obvious that they're gonna have more views if they've been out for years compared to months I mean there's a 10 month gap just between the Alejandro and BTW vids. Innovative 2
Idk, I work for a DJ company as an assistant setting up equipment and what not, and every party they run the whole floor seems to erupt at a Lady Gaga song. Even Marry the Night.

Because she's getting more popular/making more money? :toofunny: Edited June 21, 2012 by Chad-
craig 680
If Gaga has good singles, everything else will fall into place. http://kworb.net/pop/ Ellie Golding and David Guetta are making a surge. I LOVE how non-American artists have been kicking the crap out of all the hip hop pop on US charts recently.
