Honestly some of y'all are dumb as sh*t. You can literally incriminate yourself accusing people of crimes that have not been proven to be committed in court (even if they were true to begin with) and R. Kelly has the money to sue.

That's why Gaga said "I support Kesha." and not "Don't support Dr. Luke, he's a rapist." I think Gaga has made her point on sexual assault loud and clear, her Oscar nominated song about it and her telling HER story of experiencing sexual assault speak for themselves.

No she doesn't. Don't bring attention to it

Nah you're being dumb as ****. The reason why people find hypocrisy in this is because Gaga's statements on sexual assault were made only a year and a half after she made a song and music video with not just one but two celebrities who are known for raping women

I cannot think of a justification for it. It's hypocritical and makes no sense. Which is why Gaga shouldn't bring attention to it... there's no easy way around it

Katy and Halsey collab with homophobes = DRAG HER!!!

Gaga collabs with alleged rapist = SHE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS ACTIONS!

:oprah:

I swear this fanbase sometimes :saladga:

we already dragged Gaga back in 2013/2014  and in 2015 when she released TIHTY.... we're already over that mess, I dragged Katy for her collab but I'm already over it. these 3 women messed up, one of them didn't really give a fck, the other one ''apologized'' but continued to promote the song WW despite the backlash and the last one scrapped everything and stopped promoting the song.

at least Gaga learned from her mistakes, she's no longer working with R kelly and she hasn't promoted the song since 2014 if I'm not wrong  :nails:

No, she needs to distance herself as much as she can. The title of the song doesn't help the situation either. Even though I know it's not about rape, it all just sounds bad. Sucks cause I actually like the song.

I personally believe she does. It's questionable AF to collab on a song called "do what u want" with a man who raped children. And then, to come out months later with a song called "til it happens to you."

In VERY bad taste.

She's appreciates his artistry  That doesn't say she approves of anything he's done/been accused of doing. She definitely doesn't need to say anything about it though. Let others deal with it, she's too busy to get caught up in drama that doesn't concern her in the least :laughga:

Billionaires are a cancer. Even the ones you like.

Exactly.  Gaga doesn't go negative.  After some bad incident, I remember Gaga said something like "think calm, positive thoughts".  She even addresses negative situations with positivity.  She believes that love, kindness, and positivity must be unconditional and universal, and she leads by her own example.

They worked on 1 song that she hasn't performed in years. She doesn't need to address anything. They were collaborators not friends. She didn't say she supported him when she worked with him. It was all about the music and that's where it started and ended.

She also cut his verse out of the Artrave performances.

Gaga really should address the R. Kelly situation on Instagram or Twitter and make some kind of public statement about it.

It's a bummer that people are raking her over the coals for collaborating with him on one track in 2013.

She needs to make some kind of statement denouncing sexual predators, etc. I think it's important.

What do you think?

She's got her own things she needs to address before jumping on other peoples problems :rip:

So, no, not really.

theres a difference with other artists collaborating with r kelly ... gaga is vocal about female empowerment, rape, abuse and endless other social topics. this whole r kelly fiasco makes people question her credibility. rightfully so ... after all there is a video of r kelly peeing on a minor. he married a 16-year-old. you cant deny the picture these FACTS draw

Gaga did not believe the accusations when they collaborated and I think the song was supposed to poke fun of the accusations against him. Maybe Gaga still thinks he is innocent.
