All dark humor aside I think that it's actually a tragedy. "Hey, maybe we shouldn't kill this weekend for a change..." Like WTF?! Well a lot of street crime is due to how society has formed. The war of drugs for example plays a big role on how the black market runs. And of course the govt. loves it because then they get to put people in their private prisons.
