It truly does. It paved the way for many Latin artists, even Grammy used to have separate award show for it. And every popular recording artist that time feel the need to make Spanish version of their hit singles because of that :diane:

I remember Xtina's Spanish version of Genie In A Bottle. My jam back then.:diane: I think there's still a Latin Grammy's ceremony every year, I'm not completely sure tho since lately I don't like most Spanish artists sans Shakira and a couple more.
