I love that her voice doesn't sound awkward in any genre she's pursued. She can sound like a natural in pop, jazz, rock, country, etc. while many people struggle just to find one genre that fits them

and some present time positivity: i love how cinematic joanne is. diamond heart, john wayne, hey girl, just another day... they sound like soundtrack songs, the kind of songs that play on the background of indie films. i love the overall sound of joanne, how they kept it analog just for the shake of it and how it still sounds fresh and energetic to me after these months of overplaying it.

i think the lyrics on this album are the most mistreated cause few people rarely praise them and they're so worth it! i mean, diamond heart is about a stripper, about her relationship with taylor kinney, about american politics... it's just genius and the album era keeps on giving us so many good moments!

I agree 100%

I love Joanne and I think that it is going to be an album that ages beautifully too. Its also a great "roll your windows down and blast the music" album. My sister and I are always blasting Perfect Illusion when we are driving around.

Actually the first song that I loved off of Joanne was Sinners Prayer, which is really funny because it is not a song that I ever would think that I would like. I love that Gaga introduces you to new music and sounds.

Isn't this the truth. Being a Gaga fan makes me proud because of reasons like this. She is so f****** talented its insane.

There are truly no limits with her voice, which makes me really excited to see what is to come. :flutter:

I really like how much she has improved as a vocalist. If you back and listen to some of her earlier songs she doesnt even sound like the same person sometimes.:classy:

Right! Most artists get vocally worse over time. Gaga is still improving.

I actually hadn't seen this. :emma:

How beautiful. She looked and sounded fantastic.

I also think that their friendship is really cute. He really changed her life, and you can see it.

-Joanne is still an awesome album

-Million Reasons is iconic, and one of her best songs to date

-Gaga's vocals are the best they have ever been

-Super Bowl Halftime Show.  Need I say more?

-She did great at Coachella

-The Cure is a very nice song

-We were given her best music video in YEARS with John Wayne

-Her world tour is coming up in a few weeks

2017 has been a good year for Gaga, whether people want to profess that or not.

I also think that the pink drink Starbucks thing was super cute, even though it gave my coworker diarrhea in the middle of our shift. :reductive:

this was an especially powerful moment

ARTPOP didn't quite meet people's expectations both artistically and commercially, and Gaga herself admitted that she became really depressed, but nonetheless remained committed to her album and particularly to her message in DWUW that she will never compromise her heart or mind to meet "the expectations of Gaga" in the minds others.

She's always used the Chatty Man as a chance to strip down her songs to just a voice and a piano (and sometimes a xylophone), and considering the circumstances during this time (December 2013) and era, this one packed a punch.  It's one of her best vocal performances of her career and one of her most genuine deliveries as well.

My respect for her reached new heights
