I hated Venus, I only started to love Applause when she performed it at the VMAs, I freaking loved Do What U Want, MANiCURE, Swine & Sexxx Dreams. I also liked ARTPOP, Mary Jane Holland & Fashion. I loved Donatella, for some reason I only started to overplay G.U.Y & Gypsy around February 2014. I disliked Jewels N Drugs & Dope. I was in 8th grade, and my story for buying the CD is comical. I have an alarm clock with a built in radio, and I got pissed cause Poke Face was playing on Kiss 108, but I couldn't get good reception of it, so I walked to the nearest Target (which was about a mile and a half away) and bought the TFM/TF double CD. Aura: hated the new vocal track; I was around for the demo lead and thought the new one made the song weaker. Venus: heard the snippets and had no idea how they'd fit together. I still don't know, but somehow they do and it's one of my favorites off of the album. I like knowing she made it so close to release to the album. G.U.Y.: I thought that intro was everything. It's so over the top and I love it. The prechorus is among her best sonically. Sexxx Dreams: I adored Swine Fest and hated the added vocal tracks. Incredibly unnecessary, but I love the verses and general fun vibe of the track. Great song progression so far. Jewels & Drugs: Did she just talk about slapping pancakes? Eh whatever, this beat is fantastic. MANiCURE: Love it, why is she yelling so much? Still a rad track. DWUW: R Kelly does not understand what this song is about because his verse is **** even if he sounds great. This song is fantastic; a really great accessible but smart pop song. ARTPOP: MORE HEE HEEs, but she sounds great and ethereal. Swine: she should have cut 3 seconds from this build-up. I'm getting sonic blue balls. Donatella: that chorus is the only redeeming factor of a song that should be cool, but just isn't? Fashion!: David Bowie ala Let's Dance meets the song at the end of an 80s coming of age film. Love the disco. will.i.am made this???? Wow. MJH: This is so close to epic but I feel claustrophobic. What an amazing instrumental. Madeon didn't **** around. Dope: these lyrics are outstanding and Rick Rubin really knew how to treat this song well. Gypsy: This is such a beautiful song that I think nearly gets overshadowed by the instrumentation. Hearing it on the launch stream did it more justice. Still, it's so joyous and lively which is a change from a lot of her stuff. Applause: This intro is fantastic. Gaga's ready to fight y'all.
