im actually thankful she didn't gave us another album full of the fames/the cures and got tge powerful record that is joanne

and i love btw with all my heart but i doubt she wanted to put something as aggressive and dark as that.

Joanne is the best thing she could have released right now. Joanne did well and showcased another side of her, straight into ASIB which will showcase another side of her and then after that another "classic" Gaga album with more pop based songs

I can't stand fans like you. Expecting for an artist to do the same thing over and over again.

How boring.

When Joanne wins Best Pop Vocal Album at the Grammys, you will take back your words :whitney:.

I'm happy she made Joanne! I think it is my fav album of hers. BUT I do wish she released more content and extended her eras a little bit tbh. 2/3 singles and 2/3 videos for ARTPOP & Joanne is lowkey not ok.

I feel as though the 2015 LG5 wouldn't have been such a blatant copy of her previous album. I like to think it was full of romanticized, orcastral balleds that showed a dark yet very poetic and beautiful side of Gaga.

With Joanne however, she delivered an emotional and very raw sounding record. Almost nothing is "over produced" and while she does show off some impressive songwriting skills it's easy to understand what she's saying. It's not very mysterious, but I still love it because it's what she was going through at the time and it doesn't feel fake or dishonest.

Um. I love Joanne, so ... No complaints here. I wanted an album that would allow her strong vocals to be the focal point, and that's what I got.

While I will always appreciate her pop albums, ever since I saw a video of her playing Poker Face on the piano, I had been wanting her to do a more stripped album. I'm a happy and pleased fan.

Honestly, Joanne wasn't what I was expecting. I was expecting a sort of rock album that sounded like Perfect Illusion, but the album grew on me. The "original" LG5 concept sounds really cool, maybe it will surface someday in the future
