Tbh this is pretty close to Money although the song itself is not as catchy. They're actually collecting money on gofundme for a Lowlife sequel lmao, will be interesting to see what they come up with.

Just cause it was entirely written about Mars, who didnt deserve all the **** Titanic & Poppy have done to her, and I generally dislike the feels
Lowlife is a remake of Using You. (a song Mars wrote and Titanic stole credit for)
Money is based on Titanic accusing Mars of only caring about that sort of thing, having a rich family and always asking for money from them etc
Altar obviously is about Mars metaphorically "leaving Titanic at the altar"

Poppy as a concept has just generally ran really repetitive in the past few months, and she's being milked for all she's worth, when she could be doing 10x better music if she left Titanic

Mars Argo (or Brittany Alexandria Sheets) worked with Titanic Sinclair (the guy who invented Poppy's character) for over 5 years before Poppy ever existed. He turned all of their mutual friends against her, and at one point he had Tony Katai, who filmed a lot of her stuff, give him this video she made but didnt want to release called Everybody Wants it All, and then Titanic decided to edit it down and have Tony release it to start the 3:36 concept and force Mars into the project when she just wants out of it right now. 

Mars has basically gone into hiding since Poppy went big, but she's been working on new music that is taking her forever to get out. She was diagnosed with PTSD, which she has over her relationship with Titanic in general, yet she can't go on social media without people bombarding her with posts about Poppy and Titanic. I think its somewhat comparable to the Kesha / Dr Luke situation honestly, and please don't drag me for saying that.

She has some great songs, and I think shes a lot more talented than Poppy, but it's just my opinion:

Not to be rude but those lyrics are cringey as ****. I get that Poppy's a character but how can anyone seriously listen to that? lol. Not to mention her character got old pretty fast.

I kinda doubt that all of this is true because there are so many holes to the story and everyone who's curious about it fills in those holes in their own way and creates their own theories. Poppy is talented, she was successful on her own doing covers of other peoples work and since it was unintentionally revealed that she's been dating Titanic I kinda doubt she would engage in pretending to be his ex girlfriend to mock her lol. Titanic seemingly took no part in writing or producing Bubblebath so that's also debatable. It was more like a carefully picked set of songs that represent Poppy character and have radio potential, which is what the label expects.
