I get it but I just wanted to point out the people in México who use this art aren't stealing culture from anywhere if it originated in the country they are in. You are correct tho there is a big intolerance in Latin American countries against most native people and it needs to stop.

A bit off-topic,too, but it always amazes me how some traditions are still alive, even though especially roman catholic missionaries tried to destroy it. In Germany alone there are still many pagan influences of pre-Christian times. Eastern for example is a pure pagan holiday actually

Obviously this man wasn't out to belittle a culture, he was just sharing an experience that he is fond of with people who may never experience it otherwise. Most of us are never going to make it to Hawaii. So now another small business goes down to satisfy someone's whiny bulls**t perceived insult. @Katie14 Indians are flattered when people from other countries praise Indian food and ethnic wear. Feel free to wear saris if you find them beautiful; we Indian women do the same. That is the cultural significance of sari - looking regal, elegant and absolutely gorgeous on any  woman in the world irrespective of race, religion, ethnicity or anything else for that matter. If your love for saris inspires you to know about their history, innumerable varieties, making procedure etc. that's very good. If not, that's fine. You can rest assured that no Indian is going to be offended because you wear saris without knowing every detail about them.

So if American brands started to create a sari collection and renamed it as something else to make it "American" that would be ok? Like I said in my other posts, not all cases of CA are bad.

Also, praising food has nothing to do with CA. I don't know why that came up.
