Are there Gaga songs you don't really understand? Like, what is she really talking about? What do the lyrics mean? Who is she singing them for? etc.

Personally, I don't understand the meaning of:

So Happy I Could Die

Marry The Night

Electric Chapel

Diamond Heart

Million Reasons

Sinner's Prayer

So Happy I Could Die is about being drunk and masturbating, I think.

"So Happy I Could Die” represents the Fear of Addictin Monster

"Marry The Night" is about marring your insecurities

Electric Chapel in an interview with SHOWstudio, she called the Electric Chapel a place where her fans can go. “It is about needing to feel safe finding love.”

Diamond Heart is about chasing the American dream, and doing whatever it takes to achieve it.

Million Reasons - Gaga spoke a bit about what inspired her and Hillary Lindsey, saying “we were going back and forth, …going why do these men—you know, all these men, my dad, my boyfriends, all the men in my life—they give me a million reasons, but I just need one good one to stick around.”

Sinner's Prayer

This song is about singing to a man just telling him, ‘Look I just don’t want to break the heart of any other man but you, but I know that I’m a sinner.’

I still don't understand these two. It just seems so vague to me

So Happy I Could Die is about masturbation and alcoholism

Marry the Night is about not letting your insecurities get you down

Electric Chapel is about her connection with her fans

Diamond Heart is autobiographical, she's telling her story of how she was a go go dancer to make money to afford being an artist

Million Reasons is about not leaving someone even though they give you several reasons to, but you love them so you won't

In Sinner's Prayer she is admitting of being a flawed person and she is not going to change but even though she makes mistakes and she might break her lover's heart, it isn't her intention to

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

ok, it's much clearer now! Thank you!

Fashion!

Fashion! is about looking good in the clothing you're wearing and being comfortable in what you wear. It's about being confident in what you wear and how no matter what anyone says, If you're feeling good and looking fine - nothing can stop you and you're feeling on top of the world.

Money Honney

Money Honey is satire like Donatella. It's about living the luxurious life and in context with 'The Fame' it's about the representation people have of what 'The Fame' is about and how glamours it is.

None of the meanings are hard to work out. Read the lyrics.

Imagine Gaga high on ecstacy during so happy I could die. She was happier Everytime she had more, but she took so much it could kill her, she literally got so happy she could die. The song tells the story of her being sad but masturbating to feel happy but it didn't work so she did her hair, got ready, went out and started drinking red wine and popping pills to get happy.

I surely can't be the only one that doesn't have a hard time with her songs?

Diamond heart is about her troubles in her early 20's in her love life. She isn't flawless (like a diamond) she is damaged goods, but she has a diamond heart (a pure heart, but this also means she has a diamond heart engagement ring, she has found a flawless love and someone who values her). It's mostly told from perspective of Gaga the stripper.
