It seems to me that people are trying to point out the hypocrisy that its ok to assume things about white people but its not ok to assume things about a minority. Yes, hate crimes exist and are a problem and I'm not going to assume that this was a hate crime against white people or whatever because there is no evidense that it is. People are upset that in the title it says the races of the people involved when clearly if the situation was reversed no one would bat an eye. Hands up to the sky, I'm about to fly! If your gonna use an example to illustrate a hate crimes can be done by people of any race, use a valid example. Not an example of a black couple beating white people over food and not their race. This just looks like an incorrect analogy to prove a point. The cases of hate crimes/racism posted on here about white people actually have them using racial slurs and/or treating minorities because their race and ethnicity. Everyone knows evil comes in different shades. But racially labeling this case out of the vast majority of racial crimes and hate done by white people, does not add any benefit.
