I doubt team Ariana cares that her name is connected to it. It's benefitted her career. I know that sounds awful but it's undeniably helped her career.

only on forums like these can desensitized people like you think thats okay to talk about

It's true, though...... I know she wishes it didn't happen and would give everything to turn the time back and prevent it from happening, but it did benefit her career.

yeah that doesn't mean that her team "doesn't care" or that we should keep talking about it like that. We're basically giving MORE power to the terrorist this way.

I just don't understand how you guys can go on about how it impacted her sales when 8 year old girls were impaled with nails in front of their siblings.

like, the atrocities should be enough of a conversation without everyone playing create a label with the incident.

It's also so funny how she thought Will.I.Am. worked on Gimme More but the producer literally namedropped himself in the song

I can't at some of you attempting to shade Ari. Selena's cute and has bops, and maybe be basic, but she's not irrevalent.

And Ari is far from basic or irrevalent. The girl is multitalented and can act and sing circles around both Britney and Selena combined; so don't try it.

And it does matter who's concert the attack happened at, they didn't just pick a random pop girl. They chose an artist that is an outspoken advocate for feminism and LGBT rights, who has a strong connection with her fans, and who they knew had a younger fan base.

I get wanting to defend Britney's mental health or issues, but you don't have to diminish the significance of the events to do that.

She's a charitable person. She's spoken out on political issues a few times. She's not some bad person just because she's not the most outspoken person alive.

And she hasn't given pop a bad rep. Pop would've had the same bad rep with or without her.

In the current environment we live in, you just cannot be caught not paying attention.

The fact that she tried to even talk about the attack knowing good and well she didn't pay attention to it makes me think she doesn't care.

This is the third "flub" in a string of questionable things she's done recently. First, not knowing where she was on a live mic. Second, dissing fans who paid to see her "live" on a hot mic. Now we have this. This is so disappointing for me, having looked up to her when I was a kid.

This is the kind of behavior that she has partaken in for two, almost three decades that has given pop music and pop performers a bad rap
