Though Ivy is an evil, mysterious and seductive character she is also highly complex and very layered and Gaga's acting skills right now can't capture that so effortlessly. Margot Robbie (for example) struggled to capture all of the insanity and chaos that Harley possesses but she still pulled it off pretty well. idk if Gaga is there yet. It should go to someone else. Gaga would probably be better suited for Dazzler in the X-Men films as the character isn't too difficult and it would be a good way to get more learning experience for future roles. I'd say Poison Ivy is more good than evil, especially in the newer comics. Like idc about stans or favs. Ivy deserves an actress with the experience and training to actually do her justice. We saw what happened the last time Ivy was played sexy, mysterious and one-dimensional. Dazzler is the better route, and in the long run it may be better for Gaga to go with Marvel anyway considering the movie quality track record. Life ain't Hollywood for any one of us.
