AHS: Hotel vs ASIB

Which project had you more excited during the filming period?

Which project had better set photos, bts material, and announced and leaked information during the filming period?

Personally, I was more excited during the AHS: Hotel production process. Don't get me wrong, I can't wait for ASIB but Hotel's pre-production and filming process had me more entertained. The flawless announcement for AHS just came out of nowhere and really had me shook, because having watching all the seasons and being connected to it for years, I knew it was a perfect match for Gaga but never saw it coming. And we didn't have too much info on The Countess before the season started; so there was this flair of mystery about what character would entail. Plus this was Gaga's leading acting debut, so I was so interested to see how she would do. And the set photos and videos we got during filming were amazing. The Countess walking in that red dress was iconic.

I remember the promos for the Countess were so vague, and a lot of people were saying that they didn't think Gaga would have very many lines or be featured very prominently, that she would just be this ethereal presence in the hotel.

For me, no DOUBT Hotel. I remember seeing the ad where she took the mask off and put her paw up and screaming with excitement. While I am excited to see her film debut, considering ASIB has been remade a few times before I can't say I'm as thrilled about it. I do think I'll be more excited once the release date gets closer and they start doing promo.

In terms of hype around the production process, AHS: Hotel, but I feel like I'm going to like her in ASIB more. I'm not a huge fan of anything horror related, so while I did watch AHS, and while I did follow what she was doing during the filming process, I feel like I'm overall going to enjoy ASIB more when it comes out.

Plus, from what we know so far about ASIB, it's essentially a telling of Gaga's life, so I'm excited to see her performance in it

It bothered me when everyone insisted they watched AHS before Gaga was on when they never did  I've watched it since season two started!

While I did thoroughly enjoy the AHS production, I feel like I'm going to like ASIB a lot more because we are basically getting a new Gaga album with it. I'm also excited because it's a blockbuster movie.

I had watched seasons 1-3 of AHS while 3 was on TV so my first real season of ahs was freak show, but right when Gaga was announced that February I became a huge fan of the show, so I'd say Hotel since it (kinda) brought me to my favorite series.

I actually saw the other iterations of ASIB prior to the announcement of Gaga's involvement and...... Let's just say that I hope I enjoy it more than the others. I'll leave it at that lol

I started watching in Feb 2015, literally around the time that Gaga was announced, but I wasn't a fan of hers then. It was her performance in Hotel that turned me into a Monster. I just mention it because I don't wanna seem like a fake fan

Hotel is over whereas promotion for A Star Is Born hasn't even started yet, there are trailers, teasers, promo shoots, interviews,premiere events and award shows to come next year so this comparison is unfair.

It's super different honestly. Of course I was hyped pre- AHS because we had teasers and Ryan was giving out info, but the ASIB teasers and trailers are obviously not out yet. When they get released though maybe I can tell you.
