Should Gaga and Katy celebrate their 10th anniversaries together?

Katy and Gaga's debut singles and albums came out very close together. Gaga's Just Dance was released April 8th, 2008 while Katy's "I Kiss A Girl" dropped April 28th, 2008. Gaga's "The Fame" was released August 28th, 2008 and Katy's "One Of The Boys" dropped June 17th, 2008. 

With both of their careers turning 10 years old in 2018, I was thinking it'd be kind of cool if they did something together. Maybe a joint tour and a single together.

I actually didn't realize those songs came out at the same time. For some reason I thought Perry's debut was a year before Gaga's.

I doubt Gaga is even going to 'celebrate' her tenth year. I'm expecting something really low-key - probably just a tweet at most to be honest. 

I think 2018 will a quiet year for Gaga, musically. 

I don't expect a new era to start until 2019/20 to be honest.

They did start out the same year, it took Gaga however a longer time to get her songs at the top of the charts. Just Dance was released in April 2008, however it didn't climb to top 10 on hot 100 until January 2009, so you might have gotten to know Katy earlier than Gaga.

Honestly stop trying to make them happen. The only thing they have in common is that there are about 75,000 kids out there who like them both mutually. Otherwise these girls could not be more different. A Gaga/Perry collaboration makes about as much sense to me as a Gaga/Black Eyed Peas collaboration.
