Everyone keeps mentioning how Interscope is really bad when it comes to strategies for Gaga and also for not supporting her financially enough etc.. but I think it has to do with Gaga's new contract. Maybe Gaga's new contract allows her to have more percentage of her earnings so Interscope doesn't see the value in investing in her too much since they get a smaller chunk of the pie than they would with someone like Selena or Maroon 5 etc..It honestly makes sense.

Honestly, no disrespect to anyone but people should stop saying things about Interscope or about the so called team. You know the world has gone mad when you realize a couple of desperate monsters on a fan site claim they know anything about management and promo for such a big star. We really don't know how does it all work, we don't know what's going on behind scenes and I swear anytime I see someone whining about Interscope, I really want to laugh out loud.

Your post further proves we don't know a thing and it may be the way you just said.

Just had a flashback that artRAVE show in the US was like 1h25 long :poot:

in Europe the show was like 2h15 long

it better be the same for JWT :lolly:

That's cause it took her 40 minutes just to sing You and I and Born This Way in Europe :selena:

Don't you think maybe they are the same thing? Love and attention?

Exactly. Whenever ppl complain about Interscope being "horrible" etc I always wonder because honestly it could be something as simple as what I mentioned. You just never really know what's going on with these types of things.

The Official Singles Chart is being updated from early July, with the introduction of new rules to help support new music and breaking artists.

The changes are designed to ensure the chart continues to be a showcase for the new hits and talent which are the lifeblood of UK music.

The key change will be to allow artists to have only their 3 most popular tracks (based on sales and streams) to feature in the Official Singles Chart Top 100.

The move will make it easier for new hits and artists to feature in the chart by preventing multiple tracks from popular artists dominating the singles chart. The move will minimise double-counting of album tracks between the Official Singles and Albums Charts and make the two charts more distinct. The new changes are expected to boost the number of chart hits by around 10%.

An additional adjustment will see the introduction of a new streaming ratio for older tracks which are well past their peak and in steep, prolonged decline.

The aim of both changes will be to support new talent, giving new hits the freedom to progress up the chart, without being inhibited by older tracks which have passed their peak, or album tracks by big name artists.

Don't think this is a good idea...Aren't the charts here to represent the current top 100 most popular songs? If you take away like 8 songs from the chart it just makes them more inaccurate, doesn't it?

Not when those songs are drove by streams, and who is a big stream force will always inflate the chart with their songs, hiding who actually has been ''paid'' for their songs.

So just decrease the value that streaming gets. Idk the charts positions for Bieber in the UK but in US his songs are currently charting at #1,#2,#16. Imagine he would have the same positions in UK. Now he releases a 4th song that goes #3 in its debut week. The song that is #16 would just disappear even tho it's a hit with great sales?
