Every project she's made has either been the most special, rewarding, or best work she's ever done, and she's always happiest during the era she's trying to promote (only to later find out she was actually really depressed during that era), and she's always been "singing jazz since she was 13" or "acting since she was 4", and every award she's ever won is something she's been dreaming about since she was a little girl playing on her dad's piano, and every legend she's tributed or introduced at an awards show is always one of her favourite singers whose albums she used to sing along to when she was a little girl playing on her dad's piano... Like, she's lovely but she exaggerates or lies a hell of a lot just to flog her sh!t. This is something many of us have come to learn over the years. So basically, take the "I wanted to be an actress first" comment with a pinch of salt. I love judas SO MUCH but I canʹt look like a copycat of JLO!!!! Ever since ARTPOP these statements from her have been pretty clear, yet so many people still think everything she says is the most honest thing ever. Music career is in a low and she is able to go to acting. And she needs to sell that new path. Simple. She's just doing what Cher and Madonna did and made them the Pop Queens they are. I'm just sick of everyone trying to come up with excuses for every move she makes, specially when those moves somehow contradict what she did in the past.
