We're still so far away from the official release, so I get the feeling that Gaga would want the actual bottle to be a surprise. Perhaps that bottle is just what she's sending the samples in in order to keep the real bottle under wraps. It looks cheap, it's black (wtf) and the name is so 4 years ago. Maybe Fame is the women's and Monster is the men's??? She could be releasing two.... I just want this to be a successful venture, and a classy one at that. Not something cheap and Britney-y and Beyonce-y and every other slut that has done a fragrance. I want this to be expensive, unique, well advertised and exclusive. not the kind of fragrance that will sell for $25 at a pharmacy 6 months after a stupidly hyped release. Almost all celebrity fragrance lines are "cheap" though. Being sold at the pharmacy is essentially what makes them so lucrative. You're not just buying a scent you're theoretically buying a piece of the celebrity themselves. What she can approach with class is its marketing campaign. But in terms of the bottle and the quality of the scent itself I wouldn't expect much more than any other celebrity fragrance. Mr Monster 0 Posted June 12, 2012 Share Posted June 12, 2012 And yet, the company that is creating the fragrance is COTY, who make fragrances for the houses of Chloé, Marc Jacobs, Vera Wang, Vivienne Westwood, Karl Lagerfeld, Balenciaga, Bottega, Calvin Klein and that wonderful SJP fragrance - Love. I don't think the scent is going to be of poor quality at ALL, but it's how it's marketed and handled visually which will determine if it's a success or another pharmacy store flop.
