Should Gaga begin touring soon after LG6s release?

This era Gaga has decided to begin touring about 9 1/2 months  after the release of Joanne. While that's not the longest difference she's had between her album release and the tour (the Born This Way Ball came almost a year after the album release), it stands in contrast with other artists. Katy Perry's Witness tour starts less than 3 months after Witnesses release. Beyonces Formation tour began just 4 days after Lemonade's release. Rihanna's Anti World Tour started less than a month and a half after Anti's release. 

Now Gaga does have some company. Ariana's Dangerous Woman Tour began 8 1/2 months after Dangerous Woman was released (for reasons I don't quite understand considering the piss poor promo for DW.) But the question remains, should Gaga begin her next tour soon after her album release?

People need to know about the tour before they purchase tickets to go

I think some heavy tour promo after the album release is needed, but knowing Gaga, that isn't very likely

I think a 5 - 6 month gap is perfect, that way people know all the music by then and all, but that's just me

Gaga really should considering heavy promo for the next era. If you can tour the world, I don't see why you can't tour talk shows and award shows.

I think she should definitely go on tour faster. It slows down the eras incredibly. 

She could've easily started touring Joanne in April/May. Even then the only reason to wait that long would be the Super Bowl. If she hadn't booked that she could've launched even sooner. It's also possible to do promo while touring. Gaga made it look easy during the TFM/BTW days. Most major promo events are scheduled far in advance so it would be easy to schedule tour dates around them.

What about ASIB though? She couldn't film AND tour

The key is to get gaga and the word 'promote' on the same page. I really want her after this tour to settle down...have a kid or two THEN return and change pop culture AGAIN. She deserves a long break. No jazz album and tour between, no movies, just her to be completely alone to relax. Because, it seems as though the popstar life is getting stressful for her.

I forgot about ASIB 

But minus the movie there's no reason why she couldn't promote and album and tour at the same time. Touring is difficult but not that grueling as long as she's taking care of herself. The Monster Ball schedule was insane but she still promoted during that time. I think she could handle it even more easily now that she's eating enough and not drinking and smoking all the time.

I don't know how to feel about this. I really enjoy knowing every single thing about the album and how Gaga is feeling at that moment. She really enjoys releasing music and wants the world to share the same feeling. That's why she does so many interviews. That'd be so anti-gaga. But, who knows?

LG6 is ASIB's soundtrack.

 

Ronson and other producers are included in production.

 

Some songs will be singles (MV's maybe containing clips from the movie) and will probably have radio activity.

 

There will be no tour for that. 

 

LG7 won't be in the 2010's. If so, then like 2019. 

 

Thus the tour won't debut until 2020.

TMB 1.0 started almost immediately after TFM was released and it seemed to cause her a lot of distress even though it was extremely well received. A few months between release and touring is probably a healthy amount of time for her to prepare. With JWT, I think the main determinant is ASIB filming, and she probably would have gone out on tour sooner if she had not been dedicated to the film. I would appreciate having a little more info about what JWT will be exactly, but the mystery does also make it more exciting.
