If Gaga had done that sketchy bundle deal, she would have outdone Katy's easily. So her numbers are not inferior. They are in theory, superior. I'm born this way, I'm simply a frank person. Gaga's tour is doing well because of Superbowl, let's be honest. Without it, I don't think she would be able to tour this time around. Besides, is she going to to reach 100M gross with its, at all? Just sincere questions. Give Katy a credit where it's due - she's still popular and relevant and can shift those copies. I never discredited this. But anybody can see that her first week sales are incredibly inflated by that bundle deal. The fact that it just barely oversold Joanne's first week is is telling. Most of the sales of the debut week are coming from fans. What is more important are the following weeks because this is indicative if the GP cares for the artist/album. Joanne's sales were heavily declining post its debut week and Superbowl performance gave it a bit more life. I guess GP wasn't wasn't that much interested. Katy didn't need Superbowl to tour at all. Gaga, on the other hand... And her tour is going to do just a little bit better than Artrave, which is nothing to write home about. Katy will slay Europe and Oceania! The global queen! But MR wasn't a trendy song. It was ballad and if you look at the charts, ballads aren't doing well. But it still went higher than BA kiiii The album sales for Joanne were lower prior to the Super Bowl, because the album was out for 4 months by then, which is to be expected. Will Witness Even be charting 4 months from now? Furthermore, if we look at first week sales and the second and third week sales, Joanne stayed relatively the same.
