Nicole Scherzinger - Big Fat Lie  (there.are.no.words. Why couldn't she have called it after the really obvious song title, Girl with the Diamond Heart? That sounds so much better!)

Katy Perry - Witness (makes no sense as an album title)

Mariah Carey - Me. I Am Mariah...The Elusive Chanteuse (too long and pretentious)

Beyonce - B'Day (clearly, no one told her that the pronunciation is the same as a device used to wash your private parts)

Nicki Minaj - Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded: The Re-Up (same as Mariah)

Selena Gomez - Stars Dance (ridiculous, nonsensical title and used one of the worst song names to title the album with, just like Nicole)

Britney - Baby...One More Time (really lazy and a really creepy name when you think about it)

Shakira - Laundry Service (still don't understand why or what it represents)

 

In addition to this, any album that was self-titled when it wasn't the artist's debut album. It screams "I'm in urgent need of a reminder as to who I am," they're usually one of the artist's worst albums and they hardly ever sell well. And when artists repeatedly use one-word titles, it really gets to me. It's just lazy and un-inspired. Taylor Swift is the worst for this. Her album titles are just kinda...there, they're cliche and meaningless. Rihanna and Beyonce also come pretty close in the boring album title stakes. Adele seemed to have a cool idea at first naming albums after the age she was when she made them but even she's realising now that it's only going to lead to confusion years down the line when all the numbers start merging into one. Well, she didn't say that's why she's deciding to stop with this naming tradition but I bet it's totally the real reason.
