I seriously hate taylor swift after this

This actually makes me really angry, I will never stream or buy anything from her again

i can't believe that she's deliberately sabotaging Katy's album release over really petty reasons

and don't say that Katy shouldn't have made swish swish. If taylor got to profit off of this feud, Katy should be able to, why the double standard?

It's called business 👏🏻

How is it Taylor's fault that Witness didn't stream as much... maybe if Witness was good, the streams would be higher

i think the problem may be witness itself and not taytay's streaming schemes. its not that very good

That's a very subjective thing to say... I know of people around me who have started stanning for Katy since CTTR. I, for instance, hadn't bought a Katy record since Teenage Dream, first edition, 7 years ago...

Katy has been pretty consistent in her universe and general style, and I think she has delivered the goods every single time, so I believe the public is just getting a bit tired of it - success is a very fragile thing, one day the public will be there because the moment will be right, but other times it just won't be, and that's life. Not to mention the media love a good popstar breakdown once in a while. We, as Gaga fans, should know this firsthand. And we should know the current situation has very little to do with the actual qualities of the record.

I would have loved this back in 2013-2014 when katy decided to announce her new era (PRISM) just a few hours after Gaga announced the dates for ARTPOP

but now I feel bad for Katy and mad with Taylor for this bitchy move :madge:

That is called being....

fake.

Yeah, but the record is bad either way.

On a musical level.

I can't at people coming for Taylor's talent, she may not be the best live performer but Katy isn't either so talent actually won. And when it comes to songwriting Tay is miles better than Katy and you can see that in Witness stupid lyrics vs Taylor's most immature song when she was like 15 lmao, and also, I could even say that Taylor's songwriting is better than Gaga's.

Talent wins and crushes homophobic collabs.

You guys need to stop with that "homphobic" thing, nobody knows they are homophobic and thats not the reason why she is flopping.

I just listen to  Witness in full and is... bad, just bad...

I get it, some of the backlash for Katy is harsh and people who are attacking her character should not be doing that.

BUT damn. Not everyone can be the most successful artist of all time and this is more of a sign that Witness isn't appealing to the GP. :awkney:

Its not because they want her to die and burn in flames.

You guys are so dramatic.

Well, I'm gonna repeat my answer... it's a very subjective thing to say, and I think Katy has always been pretty consistant in delivering the goods. Is it as catchy as some of her former records? Maybe not, but does it make it a bad album? I don't think so.

I mean, you could say that for any thing in the industry.

If the sales/streams aren't that great, it means there's something not connecting with the audience. Katy had some decent promo slots and her team is doing a good job BUT the album and singles aren't doing well... that means overall, people probably don't like the album :toofunny:

Of course there are going to be some people who become fans during every new album, but that doesn't really mean anything unless it does well.

So the only good albums in the world are the ones that are smashing successes?

Also, just out of curiosity, would you consider ARTPOP or Joanne bad albums?

But if the general consensus of Witness being bad makes you sleep at night, well, good for you :laughga:

I can't help but love Taylor for doing this  It's such a bitchy thing to do but I live for it, it's a publicity move at the end of the day. This 'feud' is a good way to promote their new albums. :giggle:

Katy did say Taylor started it and that she should end it and look what happened :trollga:
