Alex explained that they've since reached out to Gaga to apologize, but he also insisted that the inflammatory comment was "taken out of context." That said, he shared that he's learned a lot from the entire situation. "I was like, 'Oh my god!' you know? I felt bad," he explained. "I don't think it's cool to make those sort of judgments anyway. Keep it to yourself. [Lady Gaga] kills it, you know what I mean? I think it came off conceited on my end." Their apology is for saying that Perfect Illusion sucked.
