Losing interest in Gaga?

I've been on a "Gaga stanning hiatus" once before and feel like I'm going through it again. But she will always be my favorite female artist and one I look forward to hearing from again and again.

There's no denying the Joanne era (the era not the album) disappointed me a bit, so now I have the time to branch out even further than I did on my last hiatus to discover and appreciate new artists.

Personally, I'm pretty much stanning Lorde and Halsey this year. There's so much good music coming out now and Gaga simply isn't the spotlight in my music library anymore like she used to be during BTW and ARTPOP.

Gaga's been quiet due to ASIB for 3 months and people decide to lose interest?

Do we want constant Nicki/Bieber features? I give credit to Gaga for at least doing what she can. And she has done a lot. 

The only thing I've been really disappointed in lately is there being no TC video.

A bit maybe... but it's just that i miss the old gaga so much. Like there's an unexplainable energy and magic our fandom had back in 2011. I just miss those moments and hoping she can bring everything back.

The thing with Gaga is the she bursts out and everyone is talking about her and right after that she goes silent. Like if she can consistently keep her "hype" up then I wouldn't be so bad. I know she's filming but she can constantly give her fans something

Still watching her but im losing interest for sure.

I miss the time when she was 150% devoted to her music. I mean when was the last time she did a photoshoot ? a late night interview ? We don't even have music video or official remixes for her singles. It seems the Gaga experience we had in the past is gone. This has nothing to do with charts, I just miss the amazing content she used to put out for each single and album (music video, photoshoot, performances, etc.)

She seemed quite involved with Million Reasons and it was a nice time tho.

Joanne was fine too, but its not the kind of music I listen to often. Im happy she's acting and doing what she wants but I dont have a big interest in her acting projects.

I know she's maturing and growing up, and branching out, and doing what she wants, and that's cool. Of course, I do miss when Gaga was just absolutely slaying everyone and everything. Or, at least, when she was more focused and interested in being a pop star. You get the sense she doesn't want to be a pop star any more. I wish she did, because I miss her as a pop star a lot. The Superbowl honestly reminded me why she is so great. To me, she's at her best when she's being a pop star. I know she may not think that, or she's over it, but she was so damn good at it. I hope she comes back to the pop trajectory sooner than later. It gives us all so much life!!! Lol.

I think now that she 'made it' she doesn't feel the need to constantly work 150% and can now relax a little. It's heartbreaking to know we may never get iconic music videos again but it was amazing while it lasted.

Joanne, along with being a great album, has been one of the most promoted albums in recent memory and she just put on a historic and career-defining Super Bowl Halftime Show, so no, I'm definitely not losing interest.

She's a little quiet because of A Star Is Born and tour preparation but things will pick up again just as fast. It won't change the fact that she's the most interesting and entertaining artist of the century.

if "made it" means just being a name everyone remembers, yet no one cares about, then yes she has.

I've been a Stan since 2008 and tbh I genuinely love all of her music, Joanne is my 5th favourite album of all time, ARTPOP is my 1st and TC is my favourite song this year so far. I think I just have a broad music taste so I like everything she's done so far.

Never gonna lose interest in her. Gaga is not my first stanning experience. And stanning is serious business for me, once I decides to stan somebody, it will be forever. I still am as a big fan of Spice Girls as I was then when I was 12, and I still follow Marilyn Manson as religiously as I was when I was 16. Although many years passed by, and many changes happened with them. And Spice Girls are nothing but name and good ol days, these days. I still kept them dearly in my heart and mind. And that is what happening with Gaga too, now.

 

Branches out doesn't mean you should leave your another faves for another. You can keep them together in the same lane, and get more music that way. Branches out suppose to make you grow, and have your taste and knowledge expanded, so you are not limited to one or two genres. Otherwise, you have doing it wrong.
