Losing interest in Gaga?

I'm looking forward to the Joanne tour and whatever could come with it (old/unreleased songs performed? another single from Joanne? music videos like John Wayne?) and for the ASIB shootings to be over so she could concentrate on her music only, so I'm definitely not losing hype, yeah lately it's kinda boring tbh, but after bearing with her hip surgery and various blackouts during 2012/2014 it's way more easier now.

I agree with you that Gaga wants to be less popular and slow things down but to me it seems like she's already achieved that and idk how much more downhill she can go before she starts losing her stans

I'm not losing interest at all. I probably have a different perspective on the situation because I became a fan during ARTPOP, and not since the very beginning or anything, but I haven't lost interest in what Gaga's doing. 

Gaga's evolving and changing, both in terms of her music and what she wants to do with her career, and I completely respect that. 

Let's be real though, the main reason why people are losing interest is because she isn't dominating the charts/music industry like she once did. And to me, that's just delusional thinking. I don't care who in the music industry you are, but one day, the massive fame will go away, and it went away with Gaga, and that's perfectly fine. 

Gaga isn't as popular as she used to be, that's just a matter of fact, but when your whole perception of Gaga starts to be about "How will she become the #1 artist again? Or how will she top the charts again?", then that's just fundamentally wrong.

I will say though, her visuals and aesthetic choices have been not as prominent as they once were, and while that nostalgic piece of me wants them to come back, another part of me says that it may not, and I'm prepared for if that happens.

Actually the reason many are losing interest isnt because of chart performances. Had she executed her eras properly and released a good amount of singles and good visuals i think a lot more ppl would find it easier tbh. Like in my case i really dont care if she flops...i just want content. I feel like many of you who are 100% satisfied with Gaga right now have this fact badly missunderstood and you guys always repeat it but in all honesty youd see way less complaints if Gaga delivered full eras and quality visuals and i can bet that on my life.

Yeah, I'm objectively less interested in her than I was when I was 10 or 11. I'm 17 now. 

Im still a big fan tho, I anticipate her releases, listen to her fairly often on Spotify and when her songs come on the radio, I jam out. Hell, I stayed until 4:00 in the morning to watch her Coachella set, so it's pretty obvious I'm ****ing dedicated. 

It's just that from 2009 to 2011, I was obsessed. I'd spend nearly all my time listening to TF, TFM and BTW, watching her music videos, performances and interviews. 

Nowadays I listen to Gaga about as much as or sometimes a little less then my other favs, Britney and Ariana.

I'm not 100% satisfied with Gaga right now, and I highly doubt anyone is. There are always things she could have done better and perhaps change. 

But, I'm trying to think logically. If Gaga was dominating right now—whether or not her visuals were "good" or if she only released two singles from the album, etc.—I firmly believe that people wouldn't be losing interest. I mean, why would you lose interest if someone was doing great? 

I mean, look at the John Wayne video. It's great, and it's a perfect example of "Old Gaga", but yet people are complaining about it because of the lack of views it's getting.

If the Perfect Illusion video was as great as John Wayne's, I'd have no complaints.

I'm really not losing interest. In fact, I love her more now than ever.

I lige reminiscing on hwr past though, just last night I watched gaga vision 1-40 and tonight I'm watching MonsterVision, DJWS vision and GV 40+ (probs due to my revision adversity ). Joanne is such a good album I wanna suck it's nipples. But I see why people are losing interest.

Actually this perspective makes sense. I suppose success influences some ppls tastes. because i personally dont let success or lack of it effect my preference for music and visuals doesnt mean everyone else is like that. Fair enough.

Gaga is a grown up woman and artist.

Some of her fans are in denial . They refuse to quit living in the past.

Gaga is changing because it´s normal for an artist like Gaga, to do what she needs to do, and not necessarily what the other expect from her to do.

She deeply knows that hardcore fans are her home,a place where she can rely on, no matter what.

It´s okay....

Boring? 

I've been steadily gaining interest in her over the years. She's constantly evolving and I love that. She keeps me excited for her future projects, always.

I understand that people are bored with this era, but I personally LOVE Joanne and think that it will be one of her albums that ages the best. I also will not dismiss this eras visuals when the tour hasn't even started.

As for ASIB: Sure, she's silent now because she is filming a movie. But she's filming a movie! With a soundtrack that will probably be amazing! 

So no, I'm not bored. I stan talent and a pop star who is at a point in her life where she is happy. 

I also think it's really cool that she literally has an album for every situation. The Fame/The Fame Monster when I'm feeling nostalgic and want to dance, Born This Way when I want to rock out and feel misunderstood, ARTPOP when I'm feeling down/depressed, C2C when I'm feeling fancy, and Joanne for something chill that even old people love.
