Losing interest in Gaga?

I might be in the minority but I became more interested in Gaga after she branched off to jazz and acting, so I don't think she's going to lose my interest anytime soon

I started losing interest since after the SB. I wasn't even that excited about the Coachella performance until she surprise released The Cure, but then we all know what happened after that...  

I'm currently just part-time stanning other artists now like Halsey, Katy & Taylor just to name a few.

I hope she does a whole bunch of interviews & promotional slots after she finishes filming ASIB.

completely losing interest mostly because Gaga HERSELF is. i don't wanna bring up the cure AGAIN, put come on, its such a slap in the face. Like "here's my new single, eat it up cause I'm not gonna touch it." + for her to not even tweet or say anything regarding it or where "we're at" in the era is just... wow.. okay. It's pretty "unfair"... Katy, Miley, Nicki, are all on twitter 24/7 chatting with their fans and we don't even know if her song gets a f*cking video. Anyways, at this point, I feel like a fan, not a little monster.

I'm still a huge fan like I was since the year 2009. But the way I look at her has changed. In the early years of her career, I was probably more amazed by her appearances than I was with her singing talents. For me, it was her Sound of Music tribute which changed everything. Suddenly, all I could care about after that was to see her making music that would make justice to her amazing voice. And I think with Joanne, she pretty much nailed it. On the album, it's her voice that stands out the most.

But there is still so much for her to offer and I cannot wait to see what she will do next.

She hasn't put out an album I want to blast on repeat since Born This Way so my interest has kind of dwindled over the years. I do mainly follow her out of habit now but I think she could realeasevsimething I love again, The Cure was great but I would like a proper album to love.

ARTPOP and Joanne have songs I like a lot on them but I find myself skipping a majority.

Hm well I still like her just as much, but I would say I'm less obsessive and passionate because I've gotten older. There's other more important things going on.

I'm still hoping she will come back with the same passion to do things how she used to in the beginning. I get that she doesn't have to and that fame isn't her main focus anymore but it seems kinda like now she's just trying to keep her career somewhat afloat while she's doing all of the non music related things. As if music didn't really interest her as much, i don't know. ASIB is cool and I'm happy that she was able to do it but her acting is just not what interests me personally

Nope because I love her enough to wait and I stan a lot more other artists mostly non-pop ones who keep me interested music wise. I also have a job, family and commitments BUT I do understand how younger fans can take it but I'm sure fans who joined post 2012 would be very accepting and aware since her promo has became less and less interesting and active.

And those of us who've stanned since 2008 are most likely just gonna stay anyway.

I'm losing interest tbh. Her videos, performances, fashion have all been lacklustre, she cut her last to albums very short and had a 3 year gap between them etc. Everything that made me a stan has been missing since 2013 and now I find myself looking at other artists more than Gaga. It's like she made music and visuals her last priority so it's natural for people to lose interest. Idk how she will sell tours in the future or have a fanbase

I think she will continue to sell tour tickets based on her name alone for a while but things will continue to slow down the more she loses interest in properly executing healthy album cycles and visuals. At one point we were discussing the degradation of her visuals...now we are talking about the lack of visuals in general....whats next? Its like things keep getting worse in that aspect.

however i feel like shell always have a pretty large fan base following. The way she built her fan base was the greatest marketing move Gaga could make. Building a community this strong by bonding ppl together based on the things they hate the most about themselves, insecurities etc.. is genius and wether it was organic or some management calculation was involved does not change the fact that it was just insanly smart. Because of that shell always have a loyal core fan base but things will continue to shrink and slow down for her but im starting to think its exactly what she wants.

It's not really like that... You know how you sometimes are best friends with someone for years, and they have become such an essential part of your life so you don't actively invest in your relationship, but that's only because they have cemented an irreplaceable place in your life? And were you to lose that someone, there would be a huge void nothing else could fill.

That's the way I feel about Gaga.

I'm still excited for her new projects a lot but I hate that she dissappears for a long time and then comes back for like a month and then dissappears again, it's annoying and it's certainly affecting the way I feel about her.

Things have already slowed down tremendously. My artrave was half full and there is only so much time she can milk her successful hits and that time is running out. There are always threads about how people are sick of hearing PF, JD, BR over and over and how she should shorten them etc. I also think the fact that the Joanne tour is only 4 months and doesn't even have legs in Asia or Australia (yet) says something.

I agree with you that Gaga wants to be less popular and slow things down but to me it seems like she's already achieved that and idk how much more downhill she can go before she starts losing her stans
