dit 46,417
I spoke to someone who is a fellow fan of Gaga's IRL and she mentioned how she was slowly losing interest in Gaga. She mentioned that she feels like she's only held on for so long because it has almost become a routine for her to be a "stan" of Gaga's. I found that perspective interesting. Are you here because you feel like being a monster is a part of your identity, daily routine etc.. or are you still a massive fan who anticipates everything etc. Are you losing interest or do you feel more passionate then ever? Personally I'm not losing interest but I am way less committed and a tiny bit bored but I realize that that is partly my fault so I have branched elsewhere and for the past 2 years or so I found myself really being a big fan of other artists as well who may satisfy me when Gaga does not. hbu? Ryusei 61,110
I'm curious about what she's up to and I have yet to be disappointed by her musically so I stay a stan. Also there are lots of other celeb news and gossip and political things on here so.. it's convenient. I like this cult site. And I like gagz Musery
Irrelevant 20,281
I am definitely losing interest, but mostly because the Joanne era didn't appeal to me at all I am currently experimenting with more artists (Halsey, Katy , Banks and etc.) since it's so boring to just stan Gaga tbh 광야로 걸어가 알아 네 home ground
funkyhaus 7,697
It's Gaga's past that keeps me a fan tbh
HauntingHollow 4,310
I am losing interest because instead of giving us a perfect era she gave us ... well.... hope she will give us one more BTW like era someday You can not hide if nobody pays attention to you :*
FadMadonsterStan 578
During the 2014-2016 I branched off to other artists and I don’t regret it it’s open me up to a whole lot of new music, still love gaga, I don’t just only listen to her 200% of the time now Don't go for second best, baby Put your love to the test

I feel like we almost feel guilty when we admit that we are starting to get a bit bored when in fact Gaga has only released 5/6 pop mvs in 5/6 years with many of them not being great at all, only released a hand fulf of singles from her last two albums and cut two of her pop eras super short etc..It's actually understandable for us to be feeling that way. If anything stanning other artists makes it easier for us to still stan Gaga because she won't be on our minds all the time and we won't have expectations anymore. If she delivers that's great! if she doesn't that's fine..I have other artists's work to look forward to instead. I guess it's what the stan world calls "casual stans" and I'm actually starting to embrace that.
bumblebee 2,528
Have not been disappointed in any of her major releases yet, and every new album after The Fame Monster brings a song or two that easily earns a place in the top of her discography. Still excited as f*** before she releases something new - it's just that I don't follow her closely in between the releases
berlinforme 5,300
Well, right now I'm just here for the fun community to be honest, not because Gaga has done anything particularly special or super interesting this era, the SB aside. Of course the music is still great and that it's Gaga singing the songs adds something for me, personally, but if it was just for the music or what she is doing recently I wouldn't have to visit her fan forum every day (or every 30 minutes ). sarahb 16,612
I'm actually relieved I'm spending more and more time looking at other websites and having strong interests in other things because I have a fear of someone thinking I'm 'too obsessed' Do you feel him sir? SychosSoChic 9,995
Here for the community tbh. The Joanne era started off great with the leak but it lost its novelty for me real quick. Add to that that I'm grown now and between work and auditions, I'm focusing on building a life rather than helping a single reach #1, or talking about Gaga's influences etc. Life ain't Hollywood for any one of us. Divine 1,819
Gaga has been so massive during 2008 – 2009, and then solidified her place on the industry on 2010 – 2011. She’s been everywhere. She’s been promoting her stuff uniquely with theatrics back then, singing in chapels, bloody performances, out of the world dresses, ground-breaking music videos etc. So we’ve been used to an ‘avant-garde’ gaga. In terms of charts, well she’s dominating. Starting from debut single ‘Just dance’ up unto ‘Marry the Night’. Of course, she has a lot of massive hits that’s been considered timeless! ‘Just dance’ ‘Poker Face’, ‘Paparazzi’, ‘Bad Romance’, ‘ telephone’, ‘Alejandro’, (TF-TFM) oh, of course all of ‘Born This Way’ singles. Her albums as well reached the top (we all knew that). I love ARTPOP but we all knew she declined there. I kinda just miss the old way of her (not losing interest tbh). She’s just one of the most authentic and talented artist in this generation so I couldn’t possibly lose interest. She’s an art by herself. I love her but, yeah I miss the old ones, but that doesn’t mean I hate her. She’s exploring herself due to the painful past of hers. If the things that she does today makes her okay, then I’m okay! Well, she never neglected us. She still gave us performances that are iconic at least. (Oscars, Super bowl, etc.) So I think we just have the feeling that she could do more cuz she set the bars so high before that we expect a lot from her. "And I still love you even if I can't see you anymore."
FATCAT 59,992
She's doing a lot behind the scenes these days, and she didn't really promote her l;ast album, so it can put a strain on invested interest, it's normal. But, I've grown up in this environment, around monsters that share my common interests, and even though Gaga is relatively boring at times, like when all she's doing is filming ASIB, the conversations and ideas that we spread and discuss make up for that. Also, @Anastasia always keeps me erect these days. This kitten over here (meow)
