DawnNutella 2,805
Have all of you that have fussed about her not saying anything about it been posting things about it on your social media accounts? I haven't posted anything on mine but that doesn't mean I don't care about what's going on. She can't comment on every bad thing that happens in the world. Buddy 5,686
You know what disgusts me? How many of you are more concerned about Gaga tweeting a hashtag than you are about the victims or the threat of terrorism. This mentality is pretty representative of how the world is dealing with terrorism, though. No amount of tweets and hashtags are going to fix this issue. Ariana's benefit concert will help the families of the victims, which was a beautiful thing of her to do and I'm so proud of Manchester and the world - but lets be honest, it will do nothing to fix the broader issues. These celebrities preach love and unity following terrorist attacks, but what has that done? Instead of tweeting meritless hashtags and changing our Facebook profile pics, we should be starting a discussion on viable solutions to combat terrorism. Love and unity is irrelevant in the face of this sort of evil. Relying off of that and that alone will not save a single life, and I don't care if you're offended. The truth is not sunshine and rainbows. So let me just get it out... Your tweets mean nothing, Gaga's tweets mean nothing. THEY ARE A WASTE OF SPACE! THEY DON'T DO A SINGLE THING FOR ANYONE! Celebrities shouldn't be forced to talk about every issue in the world. People die everyday and you can't expect people to constantly dwell on it. Its not healthy nor is it realistic. There are terrorist attacks all the time in the middle east and not many celebs talk about that. She can do as she wants without the approval of fans because of a tweet lol its silly. I remember all the celebs tweeted about syria at one point and how a bunch of celebs tweeted about the Quebec City terror attack on a muslim mosque and ppl were trying to make it as if Gaga hates muslims and now ppl are doing the same thing with her silence on this matter aswell. I think ppl might not understand that celebs help a lot without displaying it on social media. Plus i feel like Gaga is a little scared. Shes going on tour soon and does not want to attract attention from those who may want to hurt her or her audience.

hausofcy 20,325
She's not obliged to tweet anything. She has probably reached out to Ariana privately already. However, it would've been nice just to see a small video of her during the concert when all the artists sent love and condolences to the families who lost somebody. At the end of the day the people that got hurt were young children and adults that just wanted to go out and enjoy some music. This hits close to home for her and all of us. But yeah, with the loss of Sonja and everything I can't imagine what she's going through right now and her head is probably somewhere else these days because of it.
