Gaga is in no way obligated to acknowledge what happened in Manchester. Just let it go not everything has to be about her ffs

I am sure she at least called Ariana to talk about it. But Gaga's been really distant from us and the gp lately. No tweets or public support about this tragedy, no posts about the pride month.

I understand she may be busy, but one of the things I admire the most in her was how socially active and worried she was. :(

Oh wow I dodnt even notice that she hasn't posted about Pride month. That's really weird.

we can't keep thinking of excuses without knowing the facts either

I am annoyed that this thread made to comment about the tribute to the victims of the manchester attack has been hijacked into another "why gaga is pissing me off" It is fine to be angry with her, you can have that opinion but I dont think it is the time or place

Most of the people who recorded videos were in Hull last weekend for Radio 1's Big Weekend festival.

Except that we are on a thread about a manchester tribute viewing party, not anything about gaga. Not everything on this site is about her thats why we have entertainment threads, world news threads etc

it's not the time or the place to sob about a pop star going through a bad time about her friend either

And worst, It's the FIRST TIME she does this. But apparently she doesn't care.

Literally. After all the activism she has taken part in over the years, all the spreading of nothing but love, compassion and happiness, her own fans have the cheek to call her "lazy" for not sending a TWEET.

Just now, Gagadonna said:

She knows more than anybody how a simple tweet can warm hearts. Complaining may be irrelevant but (for once) it's legitimate. If she was Britney, I would not care at all, but she is such an activist and fighter for kindness and humanity. That's just nonsense.

No, it is not legitimate. I'm fed up of the notion that posting on social media is genuine activism. It's not. That's called slacktivism. I know a lot of people post on their Twitter and Facebook these days in order to give themselves an ego boost, but I don't see the appeal myself.

I'd rather her not post a generic "Praying for Manchester <3" tweet with a trending hashtag if she felt pressured to do it. It's hollow, no matter how positive your intentions may be. What does it achieve? People expect the most ridiculous things of artists nowadays.
