It's #16 on iTunes, but that's largely due to the fact that it's on discount; however, despite that though, it was holding it's own in the late 20s, early 30s on the charts without any sort of promo whatsoever. To be honest, I think it's doing great. Plus, by now we should know that this is just a buzz single. Yeah, at first people were speculating, "Is it going to be an album? Is it going to be an EP? Are there more songs?" etc. etc. etc., but by now, we all know that it's just a buzz single. It's just a little something Gaga wanted to give to her fans, that's it. She has no idea how to manage it. For those claiming the song was never meant to be promoted or whatever your excuse is, this is one of the most generic, trendy pop songs Gaga has ever released. If this was not for the bling, it sure wasn't for the music as well. In my opinion, they wanted to see if The Cure was able to rise on its own. They've followed this type of management since Joanne was released. However, Lady Gaga is not the nameholder she used to be and apparently doesn't even try to. So The Cure was released to see if a trendy song would be enough. It's not. They keep doing things in half, expecting the other half will be done naturally on its own, when that is not happening. To be honest, the only girl I've seen who is able to do so is Rihanna. We need full force Gaga again. In fact, it is the perfect time to bring back that sparkle that Gaga gave to pop music.
