Take a look at yourself, because people who are cruel to others have the lowest self confidence of all. Your comment is no critic of the performance and just shows your jealousy and hatred towards Britney which is just as sad.

Her live vocals were awful and now she doesn't make a convincing fake. What talent does she have? No one said she was Janet though. She even say it herself Janet was a bigger influence for her than Madonna. And excuse me but yes she used to be a very great dancer back in her prime, just watch her VMAs performances or her Dream Within A Dream Tour or her Onyx Hotel Tour. ‘If religion be the cause of disunity, then irreligion is surely to be preferred.’ ‘Abdu’l-Bahá
andreas85 394
Britney's most iconic moment: Of course, anyone is "iconic" with true legend like Michael Jackson. I like some of Britney's hit songs, and she's pretty hot and all, but that's about it. After she's been in the business about nineteen years she's still very mediocre artist at best. She clearly isn't interested becoming a serious artist because she could've easily taken some singing lessons (like Madonna did when she made Evita) and they would've been useful. Maybe it doesn't feel like Britney is trying to make it hard to the spotlight these days, but she's actually responsible for a lot of aspects of our modern pop culture. Yes, she has lipsynced through almost her whole career, but in her prime you could see that she had a fire for the performance in her that hardly any other artists did, or do today. See the Onyx Hotel Tour for example, she gave it her all on that stage, lipsyncing or not. She is also responsible for being a trendsetter in music since she released her first record, everyone wanted to be Britney, act and look like her, but that is only because she delivered every single time she appeared in public. She was a hitmaker, but she actually dared to try new sounds within the realms of pop and managed to suceed, even recently. Remember how all pop songs got a dubstep break after "Hold It Against me"? I take a lot of you that don't understand Britney's impact were not interested or didn't live pop culture before 2007? Otherwise it would be pretty clear why Britney has her spot, dislike her or not. Her impact is undeniable.

Zazekina 785
At least she is having success with her world tour lol and we all know that people that go to a Britney concert, don't expect her to sing live lol. We love Britney cuz she is a sweet person and she went through hell and rised again like a phoenix, but, she should pre record new vocals and try to give a better show tho, the Britney army deserves it. https://soundcloud.com/zazekina/otra-vez

Its not below the belt, but its the most exhausted, tired, overdone dig at her. Yes, she lipsynchs. No, she doesn't really dance like she used to. Take her for what she is. Its a fun show, with all her hits, sexy costumes, lots of hair flipping, and overall a great time. She's back in her groove and moves the best she has in years, and if her dancing isn't good enough she has a troop of really hot, talented dancers to make up for it. Britney can sing. No, she can't sing like Whitney or Mariah, but she has one of the most unique, recognizable, and pleasant voices. Nobody can do a cute, sexy, sultry sound like Britney and that has made her one of the most successful recording artists of all time. Think of what this woman has been through. Her childhood and teen years robbed from her, many public breakups, her every move scrutinized. Then a highly public "breakdown," custody battle, and struggle to get on the right track. People love to make fun of "OMG I FEEL LIKE BRITNEY IN 2007" not realizing the hell she went through those years. The fact that she bounced back, has since had 4 number one hits on the Billboard Hot 100, her sellout Circus Tour, successful Femme Fatale era, decent hits like Work Bitch and Make Me, and now she's changing the face of Vegas...she's a legend, an icon, and the undisputed Princess of Pop. She gets a free pass for the lipsynching. You don't walk into a Britney Spears show expecting a live band, killer vocals, and amazing music that's going to bring you to tears. You expect fireworks, glittery costumes, props, sets, and Britney doing her thing to all the hit singles you love. That's what you get. Don't be fooled. Many artists lip synch and just hide it better. Unlike Beyoncé, Britney just doesn't record a "live vocal" to mime along to. End Racism Now
swakby 4,100
I might be one of the few ones with the following opinion. Still: I have to disagree with Gaga in terms of live vocals. I believe that if you are paying for a show, you pay for an overall performance - including dancing, visual effects and so much more. If everything else is good and the artist is lipsyncing - fine by me. If you want to hear good vocals buy the d*mn record.
