Rihanna is a trend-setter, outspoken, and with an unapologetic attitude like no other. YES she may not write her own songs and give **** concerts (I've been there) BUT she has my respect. She does what she wants and it turns gold... music, fashion, videos, movies, collections, fragrances, next makeup, damn even her paparazzi videos are iconic!!

She's got a LONG way to go before she even comes close to achieving Madonna's level of cultural relevance and longevity.

I don't deny she is one of the "biggest pop stars ever" but Madonna she is not.

I wonder when people are gonna stop comparing every female singer to Madonna

Well since Madonna is the most successful by most metrics... she is the one to surpass if u wanna be the new queen of pop

the comparisons are not surprising

Comparisons are annoying af, art is not a competition

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

Right. But Charts are a big thing to many ppl

ur talking about the title of "Queen Of Pop" the most successful female artist ever. Thats a big thing

a new generation trying to surpass the last

charts have more to do with this than art

Damn.. so much hate.

I love her. She is fierce. I remember back in 2010-2011 when all the female pop stars started copying gaga. I feel she was going in that direction, but then she remained true to herself. I miss her epic red hair!!!

I was rooting for the Gaga-Rih collaboration in SexDreams

Not sure if being called a Madonna is a good thing nowadays. I love Madonna but Rihanna doesn't need a comparison. She's Rihanna and that's all.
