I love Ghosttown and Living for Love, just give me more of that. Top of my playlist after CTTR.

Why are those tasteless bigots entering in this thread and making unnecessary comments? Bitch you shouldn't feel proud of hating the best female artist of all time. If it wasn't Madonna, Gaga probably wouldn't even exist and the LGBT situation would be even worse. So if you don't like her just get out and go listen to some other bullshit.

OT: Really excited! Just wishing its not like Hard Candy and MDNA :chica:

Madonna fans don't want to hear this, but the quality of her albums depends almost entirely on the collaborators she works with , because they are the ones who give her the sound of the album. Just look at William Orbit or Mirwais.

I'm down for another political album from Madge.

another? American Life wasn't a political album at all, there's not one single song that discusses politics or the political climate of that time. The album is about fame and personal life, and then when the politics became a hot topic, Madonna glued a political cover. The songs/lyrics are not about politics at all.

I don't mind her exploring modern takes on trends as long as she pushes the envelope with great lyrical content and a strong theme/look this era. She's kept the same variation of the same look for more than a decade. She's bound to have a ton of ideas from everything that's happened since Rebel Heart ended, Trump, politics, tragedies so I hope she's either able to translate that into good ballads, political tracks or find a collaboration with some underground artists to beautifully craft a new record.

With HC and MDNA, she sounded terribly on autopilot, one was the end of her WB contract and the other record was an afterthought due to all her other work ventures at the time. RH was a step in the right direction with her seeming invested and challenged to bring good work which was horribly maligned with her double record idea nixed, the leaks and the poor mastering/final versions of the album tracks. She seems more interested in looking back, sharing personal stories of her rise to fame so I would like for that along with the current climate of the world to be a huge theme in her record. RH did it to an extent but I agree, she shouldn't cater to radio anymore and simply pull out another wild track like "Bedtime Story" with an outlandish video to show us why we have stuck by her after all these years.

If you haven't heard the Ray of Light album in its entirety, I strongly suggest it. I don't like most of her music (or her voice very much for that matter), but it actually is a cohesive body of work. It's at least worth a listen if you have some free time, as it is quite good (and I am by no means a "Madonna Fan" in any stretch of the imagination). These threads are for everyone to post opinions, so sorry if you felt hate in any way

thank you so much for those nice and kind words!!!:hug:

i will listen to see how this album is, thank you for your suggestion.:)

when I heard the demo of Living For Love I was thrilled because I thought she would go for the 90s bop route, then Rebel Heart was released :awkney: I don't want her to TRY (because is something she hasn't been successful at) to appeal the younger generation, again
