Hades 27,980 Posted June 2, 2017 Share Posted June 2, 2017 Listening to Erotica, Bedtime Stories and most recently to Ray Of Light thanks to @Antonio made me realize what i truly miss from Madge. She needs to ditch her current sound and the heavy usage of autotune. Tracks like ''Illuminati'' or ''Bitch I'm Madonna'' can be seen as cool or either desperate for a hit but they are easily forgotten. Cute little bops as most will say and that's all about it. Messiah was a track that gave me a glimpsh of her glory. She needs to use some of her raw vocals again and please no more tracks about how who she is (luv madonna etc) or about bitches. We know she is the Queen so she must stop caring about ''hits'' once and for all and focus on her art. That's what made her a star after all. When she is relaxed and inspired like the ROL era she is at her best. As Gaga would say at that time she was: I truly believe she can give us another masterpiece. Ps. I think Rebel Heart was kind of a step forward in the right direction, after Hard Candy and MDNA (even though musically I prefer Hard Candy over Rebel Heart). Cheers my fellow Medonsters. her demos for Rebel Hearts (except Holy Water and some tragic Pharrel collab demos) were better than the final album version tbh. I need her to make an album as good as COAF, AL, Music or ROL.
