SPEECHLESS

:(

She said that she originally wrote this for something else but now she thinks it's about us. I think that's her way of saying "I know you say nasty awful things about me sometimes and that rips my heart out but no matter what nasty awful things you say, I'll always love you with everything I have".

I love you monsters. I'd be unfixably broken without you

Same here.

"Don't Leave me I will hate myself until I die

My heart would break without you

Might not awake without you"

Shes basically saying that her monsters are the reason she gets up in the morning and if we abandoned her, it would crush her until the day she died. How can that not make you cry ya know

I cry on the chorus also...the lyrics have deep meaning to me

I immediately thought of Speechless at Coachella, talking about the fans. A lot has changed since that song was first released. In a similar vein, Edge of Glory in that context was heartbreaking.

I also thought Dope for sure, and So Happy I Could Die, the latter of which is deceptively ominous.

"Million Reasons" has some heartbreaking subtext. There could be so many things wrong in a relationship, such as verbal or physical abuse, but it could just take one good reason (such as thinking you could fix that person) to stay.

Always read Million Reasons as being about mental illness. The song is her talking to her life - "you're giving me a million reasons to let you go. You're giving me a million reasons to quit the show."

In a live performance after the line "every heartbreak makes it hard to keep the faith" she said "but you gotta keep the faith."

For me, it's between Dope, Million Reasons, and Til It Happens to You.

I actually think that Swine is one of her most depressing songs :cryga:

Especially because it's about rape :(

Bleach out all the dark

I'll swallow each peroxide shot

Someone I know and love could save me from myself

Or maybe I'll just clean the poop off of my fancy shoes

I'll be a Princess Die and die with you

I've always thought that her saying speechless is now about her fans was her way of secretly saying that she knows that some of us say horrible nasty things about her and it rips her heart out. While it hurts her terribly, she's saying that no matter how vicious and nasty some of us can be, she'll always love us until the last beat of her heart. I always try to remind those people that she's been nothing but good to us. She doesn't have to do all that she does for us

Dope (in its final form) and TIHTY are the obvious answers. One's lowkey about drug addiction and being lost in life without someone and the other is literally about sexual assault

Been a long time but I'm back in town, and this time I'm not leaving without you
