Is Lana del Rey losing her touch?

Seriously, she used to have such unique, haunting voice, at least in records, but nowadays, i can barely understand what she is singing, is like she whispers instead of singing with LOVE, now Lust for Life, someone feels the same?

Just look how solid and amazing her voice was in here

Her music has been going downhill ever since Paradise. Nothing she puts out ever compares to Born To Die and Paradise. High By The Beach I liked a lot

Music to watch boys to was pretty cool too, or Salvatore, but nothing lately come close to her early work and is such a shame, im still enjoying paradise

I only liked BTD and a couple of songs from Paradise. However, Love and Coachella seem like a return to form to me. Lust for life is boring though.

Her artistic peak was Ultraviolence

Nope, she's still awesome.

Everyone wants her to make the same thing over and over again but then they also complain when she does just that.

Why is everyone forgetting about Honeymoon? Religion and Swan Song were masterpieces.

I love Paradise, and some of Ultraviolence, but I actually think Honeymoon is my favorite album from her.

no, the way she sang on BTD and Paradise was the reason for all the bad live performances. She tried to sing lower than she could cuz she thought people might take her more serious than if she used her comfortable range. Also, Honeymoon features some of Lana's best vocals. Take the title track or Terrence Loves You, she never sounded as good as on these two tracks.
Her airy and hauntingly beautiful vocals on Ultraviolence were literally the reason I started stanning Lana.
This album is so raw and unpolished, it was really refreshing to hear something like this, especially because I thought Lana was talentless and manufactured due to the polished, flawless sound of BTD.

And she's not losing her touch, at least not for me. It sounds like everyone who agrees with you wants to stan a pop girl; but Lana is not a pop girl. BTD was the closest she ever came to officially releasing pop music. No surprise pop fans will be disappointed with her newer stuff.

Plus, BTD is definitely not her best work. It's overproduced and the mixing is horrible; just take a look at Video Games for example, the way it overrides in the last chorus makes it hard to enjoy it. If she tried to go back to her BTD sound, this would be a horrible step-back from all the artistic growth she's experienced. It wouldn't sound fresh and come off as a try to recreate her success from the BTD era.

I like her newer work much more than BTD and Paradise, and Lana continues to deliver. The only thing I miss are the Americana-inspired lyrics, but Lana has obviously grown out of this imagery.

Sometimes it feels like I've got a war in my mind, I wanna get off but I keep riding the ride

Yes. She's boring now.

We've only heard three new songs and they all use a different voice. I don't think it's fair to make a general assumption yet since all three songs go in a very different direction.
