But the cost of things and earnings hasnt fully adjusted for the change in currency yet. Minimum wage in Ontario is currently $11.40, that means someone working full-time (35h/week), only makes $798/2 weeks pay, so roughly $1,596/month, and average 1-bedroom monthly rent in cities like Toronto is $1,776. The price of everything else, food, Entertainment, insurances, electronics etc etc etc Those things are still adjusting to the new currency value. Some things i listed havent even changed much at all yet We cant pass Business rules and legislation based on our housing bubble alone. A four year degreed nurse makes $17 an hour? In the US, as of Mar 2017, the average pay for a Registered Nurse (RN) is $28.47/hr or $60,616 annually.
