Some of her best lyrics and the actual music creates such a tone and picture that perfectly compliments the lyrics. Sinner's Prayer is AMAZING and will always be underrated by this fanbase. REALITY 76,250 Posted May 30, 2017 Share Posted May 30, 2017 I'm sort of indifferent towards Sinner's Prayer. But Come To Mama, in my opinion, is one of the best, if not, the best song on Joanne. It's so underrated and underappreciated. It's message is great, and sonically, it harkens back to Motown/50s-esque music, which I absolutely love and adore EDIT - Also, I know a lot of people may get upset at me for saying this, but I also feel like Million Reasons is up there with Come To Mama as the best song on Joanne. I find the lyrics to be well thought out (especially the line "I've got a hundred, million reasons to walk away, but baby I just need one good one to stay." Honestly, one of the best lines I've heard from a Lady Gaga song), but I also love it's simplicity and the fact that it really highlights Gaga's vocal capabilities. I know she's performed it to death, and the music video wasn't the greatest, and that it wasn't the "smash hit" that everyone was expecting, but I really feel like it's—like Come To Mama—underappreciated by the fanbase because of just how exposed the song was. 🦠🧙♀️🥀📸🎉👻🕺🧟💊💖☎️🔪👤🐺🌱🌎 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
