At least 68 children died in a blast that hit buses carry evacuees from besieged towns in Syria, according to a monitoring group.

The death toll from the bomb attack on a crowded bus convoy outside Aleppo has reached at least 126 - including the dozens of children - in the deadliest such incident in Syria in almost a year, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said.

Syrian rescue workers of the Civil Defence said that they had taken away at least 100 bodies from the site of Saturday's blast, which hit buses carrying Shia residents as they waited to cross from rebel into government territory in an evacuation deal between the warring sides.

I have very strong opinions on wars and violence in general, but people who MURDER innocent people, civilians or even children deserve a special place in hell. Absolutely disgusted

Come along with me and the butterflies and bees

Watch this go unnoticed.

Not by me. The world is in a tragic state right now, and innocents have paid the price.

I cannot believe this happened 1 month ago and I did not hear about this until this post

There's nothing harder for people to do than admit they were fooled.

This will be unnoticed at all because Nor it is in a European capital or it happened in a concert arena.

Some of you could say I am disrespecting people who suffered from the horrible Manchester explosion but you should know I am not meaning that at all

I get what you're saying, but the fact is that people don't relate to buses in Syria. Same reason all of the Middle East and all European Muslims only care about Palestine, but forget all other struggles in the world from Tibet to, ironically, Kurdistan.

nonetheless, this is devastating...

This is so terrible. Assad has no issues killing his own people and tragically the world is doing nothing at all ... all because Assad doesn't attack the West?

It's been years.

Ramadhan is approaching. More attacks happen around this time...

I'm still hopeful that day will soon come when we stop hearing about deaths and wars in Syria.
