edit: i really don't mind the knee high boots, but i think her HEELLESS HEELS are the most gaga-esque shoe she's worn.

Yeah, you're right. They're very Gaga. I'm pretty sure I've never seen another celebrity wearing that kind of shoes. I still can't wrap my mind around how she walks in those

She has to press the front half of her foot really hard on the platform part, and she has to fake the heel part (have you've ever pretended to walk in invisible heels? she's doing that) that's why in this pic, she's being "lazy" so the heel part looks flat
