Not surprising and I don't really feel bad for him. Look at how racist gays can be, or how many women voted Trump. Being in one minority group doesn't make someone immune to racism or discriminatory ideas.

Of course I understand that being disenfranchised by society doesn't protect you from other forms of privilege, but what I was stunned by was the fact that this asshole showed absolutely no compassion, even when his female companion was telling him to rein it in.

He might be bitter by the fact that he was so close to the top of the privilege pyramid, being white, male and I assume heterosexual, but was brought back down because of his disability.
