It must be a big change for you guys who have been here from the beginning. I didn't become a fan until Judas and found out about this place just days before the TEOG video. Almost everything i have tracked since then have always been messy and floppy so atleast my standards never was that high to begin with

At this point we should be hoping for professionally directed videos with stellar top notch visuals (aka Intel 2016 level) which even then is wishful thinking these days

I genuinely like it better than Applause's video, but I'd say G.U.Y's is still better. For me it's on par with the BTW era videos (except TEOG).

Yeah, coming from the Poker Face era to now has been difficult. I remember it was heated on here over Gaga's level of tanning.

I also remember when people considered Alejandro a flop because it didn't go #1 on Pop Songs and "only" went 2x platinum at the time. Myself included. So when people say I don't adjust my standards or that I haven't learned from Gaga's trajectory....

I hear ya. To each their own. I've also been a fan since 2009, but with things being so messy since the BTW era, I've come to expect and embrace the messiness. It makes it seem so much more organic, for me anyway. If her eras were as perfectly polished as say, Taylor Swifts, I think it would seem much more manufactured. But we all have different opinions  

I wouldn't say it's still getting messier though. This era doesn't seem any less organized than the ARTPOP era.

I wouldn't say it's still getting messier though. This era doesn't seem any less organized than the ARTPOP era. 

I would agree that she's regained some polish and professionalism with her team since Cheek to Cheek -> now. (Coachella, Super Bowl, C2C itself, and AHS were all managed with good appearances, clear social media promotion, and high-budget sets). I would say the organization of things though, for her pop music, has not improved. PI was butchered, MR's video was a disaster, and now TC is left for dead on radio.

I mean from the joanne release-to superbowl the era was pretty much on point promo wise and with management with the only downside being the videos. PI "era" was tragic though and now we know nothing anymore. What even is the cure and will it get promo?

Even if TC just had a video it'd at least be alright, since artists do buzz singles with a video/song and nothing more all of the time. But the lack of even a video is ridiculous lol.
