Gaga is fcking legend and they need to spend their money on her catchy radio friendly songs because yes,she can also be a money making machine because her name is that fcking big. I'm so tired of interscope and her marketing team. I'm grateful for interscope, they believe in her when nobody did but Gaga can be the best selling artist again and a streaming force with a good(another) label and a good marketing team. So many labels would abandon an artist and punish them with a limited budget/strangle their album releases after having management issues like she did with Troy. Think of what happened with Ke$ha and Sony, and how Britney is treated by RCA. Interscope is the only label in the industry that would let her go from a meat dress to a country album to whatever, while also booking her at Coachella and the Super Bowl 10 years into her career. Lets not be insane. She should renew with them the first chance she gets. (Nevermind the fact it's not their fault she didn't do a video for this single. They push everything she releases, they even pushed Judas on radio when they probably knew well before release that it was going to be radio poison. Most labels would've just said no and released whatever they wanted. Her issue has always been her closer management team that handles the day-to-day, which isn't Interscope. She said numerous times she paid for tour production herself, she paid several music videos out of her pocket as well. That being said, I think Interscope is one of the best labels for an artist to be in, they let their artists roam free and find a somewhat good balance between artistic integrity and commercial interests. Ugh these tour talk for katy is stressing me out so much and i know it's petty but she shouldn't be getting good gross with how lacking she is in vocals AND dancing--you know, the two most important things you need to perform.
