ViviLittleM 3
After consecutive No.1 albums with Teenage Dream in 2010 and Prism in 2013 in both The UK and The USA, Katy Perry seems to be on track to make it a hat trick in America with new album Witness projected to sail to the US summit this weekend - but in the UK it has to settle for a No.6 debut (16,153 sales). Chained To The Rhythm (feat. Skip Marley) was the first single from the set, and suggested Perry was back on form, reaching No.5, but Bon Appetit (feat. Migos) and Swish Swish (feat. Nicki Minaj) have struggled, with peak positions of No.37 and No.40 respectively. All three singles rebound, following the release of Witness, with Swish Swish up 77-47 (11,161 sales), Bon Appetit rising 66-57 (9,061 sales) and Chained To The Rhythm advancing 82-68 (7,401 sales). Prism - her third album - debuted in pole position on sales of 53,827 copies, a little below the 54,176 copies Teenage Dream sold on debut. Perry's first album, One Of The Boys opened and peaked at number 11 on sales of 18,796 in 2008. Teenage Dream has sold 1,308,384 thus far, with One Of The Boys on 700,261 sales and Prism on 440,272. nick4bty 2,758
The end of the Prism era should have been a clue that her popularity was on the decline. It ended with two floppish singles and struggled to keep selling albeit a massive world tour. Then she was dumb enough to take a three and a half year break. So long, Katy, you won't be missed

Star 4,409
TC is a moderate hit. Not bad, but not great. It's...nothing much. Atleast the call out score is getting better which will make the radios to spin the song, that'll give us the advantage.
