Some say Bon Jovi/Kanye, others Shawn Mendes. I have no idea tbh.

Bon Jovi is the biggest drop from #1 in terms of positions, Shawn has the record for highest sales percentage drop for a #1 album

If you look at KIIS' audience of The Cure, it's way higher than every song around it. Guess they'd rather spin it 2-3 times a day at the best times than give it more spins. Wonder what the reasoning is behind that.

Maybe they're trying to ease into the song... sorta like Cheap Thrills (without Sean Paul) and Chandelier, both took a while to catch on.

It literally has the same audience as Passionfruit which has over 50 spins compared to just 19 for TC. It is always getting played in the 11-2pm hours, which is usually the best time. I believe they've also been giving it some later afternoon spins lately which is also the best time, along with the 7am rush hour

I am positive that TC is going TOP 10 with the video + the discount!

I just hope the video will be good + the radio will continue with the support so it can have some longevity inside TOP 10/20 during the summer

Not exactly, Bon Jovi has both records since they lost 91,71% in pure sales, while Shawn lost 89%

Further, Linkin Park’s One More Light falls from No. 1 to No. 15 on the Top Album Sales chart, with the second largest percentage decline in sales for a No. 1 debut since the chart launched in 1991. It falls 89.64 percent, eroding from a start of 96,000 to 10,000 copies sold. The collapse is owed to how its first week was amplified by a concert/ticket album bundle sale redemption promotion with the act’s tour [...] The largest second-week sales drop belongs to Bon Jovi’s This House Is Not For Sale in 2016, which fell 91.71 percent (128,000 to 11,000). Bon Jovi’s first week was also goosed by a ticket/album offer.

Funny that they didn't mention it with Katy, let's see if they say it after it drops next week.

Didn't BTW have a pretty big drop in the 2nd week?

Yes, but it was a drop from 1M+ first week sales, plus it was under 90% (I think like 86% or something, someone correct me) so you can't really compare it.

Pretty much, 84.27% (selling 174k) that was the record back then. Madonna broke the record the following with MDNA (86,7% with 48k). ARTPOP also had a pretty big drop (82% with 46k), making Gaga the first artist to have two albums in the top five list of all-time biggest second-week percentage drops. I think now neither one of her albums are on that list
