That's literally what happens for a summer song treatment... If we want it to go higher during summer it need some stability and longevity before that period..; No summer hit is already one in Spring tbh..

Yeah, but I also think at 10 years in the industry, Gaga has earned her place that she doesn't need to worry about being "global" anymore. Everyone knows her. She's a household name, she has a lot of hits under her belt, she's sold millions (and is now slowly becoming a streaming force), and has proven herself on radio/tours/etc. Eventually, we have to expect her to just start doing whatever she wants without really caring about that stuff. Not shading you, just saying in general.

Digster is mostly active in Germany. They used to upload music videos onto YouTube before Vevo finalized its deal with GEMA.

Now they're like curators of what is hip & upcoming.

Making a business out of nothing, I wish I was that creative.

Also they're owned by Universal Music. Even more baffling that an Universal artist like Gaga is nowhere to be found on their playlists.

I agree but if that's the goal I think releasing a country album (or some other edgy projects) would not be the great.. For getting some streaming stability and strength, she definitely needs an album that will go global... US streams only won't be enough sadly.. Joanne didn't help her at all with streaming (it was definitely too much targeting a US audience tbh)

With The Cure we can see that she gets a bit of streaming power because she get some interest everywhere in the world
