Actually lets do that because by most estimates the majority of muslims think homosexuality should be illegal... Even in Britain where among British only 5% think homosexuality should be illegal, among British MUSLIMS that number jumps to 52... and btw that number is LOW compared to other countries... 

Also your argument that people who say off with religion are the same as people who say off with the gays is dumb... It's verifiable that homosexuality in itself doesn't cause any harm - there is literally no reason it should be looked down upon... What is not verifiable is the existence of God, or that the bull**** written in 'holy' books is anything but man-made...

Honestly, you have quite some nerve telling people they're ignorant considered that the bible is an attempt by primitive human to explain natural phenomena in the absence of science... Back then people though that natural disasters were a wrath of god, that illnesses were caused by demons possessing humans, that when they heard voices, it was external entities talking to them - all of those things have been debunked...

I appreciate what you wrote, but... That statement is just not true... In the Hadith it literally says that torturing gays to death is the humane thing to do... No, it's not just the people... Well, it is just the people in a sense that religion was made by them... Still, in most cases violence and selective ignorance is something people are taught and religion does a splendid job at doing that... Most religions advocate against science - especially Islam... That's why people who were brought up with that mindset reject scientific evidence despite it being tested over and over... 

Not everyone can break away from a mindset when it's been programmed into you since childhood when you're trying to understand what the world around you is... That's why using religion to explain this world is a losing bet and it should go... We're not living in the dark ages anymore, we have a lot of tested knowledge at our disposal that teaches people far better what this world is, and how to navigate and live in the modern society effectively, maximising your own happiness and contribution to others... It's not a matter of everything has a good and a bad side, it's a matter of selecting what yields best results and knowledge is by far the best way to do that...
